ALPINE WILDERNESS RETREAT is situated at approx. 4,650 ft. above sea level and is subject to hot and cool weather changes.  Snow, hail and cool winds are possible!!

Bring some warm clothes, boots and rain gear, bug juice and your personal items.  Pack using a duffel bag instead of a suitcase due to aircraft weight restrictions - approximately 35 lbs per person.

To properly manage the area lakes, we recommend light tackle with single, barbless hooks for fly fishing, spin casting or trolling the lakes.  ALPINE WILDERNESS RETREAT  has some light tackle and accessories for sale, should you lose yours.

Aluminum boats, motors and life jackets are available on six lakes with canoes available on two.
